Lamborghini Aventador supercar:
The LP700-4 Lamborghini
Aventador, known internally under the codes "LB834" (cut) and
"LB835" (roadster) is a supercar developed by the Italian
manufacturer Lamborghini. Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011, it
replaces the Lamborghini Murciélago.
On paper, Lamborghini has
an output of 700 hp and a 0-100 km / h in only 2.9 seconds. It has been proven
on the Bugatti circuit in Le Mans. Better yet, the Aventador was able to shoot
the mile in under 20 seconds (19.3 seconds), Performance coveted by the most
expensive supercars in the world. In the British show Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson
of the Aventador has been pushed to 328.6 km / h on the Nardo circuit for a
challenge between Aventador, a Noble M600 driven by Richard Hammond (329.8 km /
h) and a McLaren MP4-12C led by James May (314 km / h). The Aventador looks
like being the most powerful Lamborghini.
Using techniques
developed by Lamborghini on the use of carbon (a special plant was designed),
the Aventador is the first Lamborghini series with a monocoque carbon fiber.
This specificity allows it to save weight and to be exceptionally rigid.
Question design, the
Aventador has established an aggressive and radical style. With the Reventón
and Sesto Elemento, the Aventador expresses a turning point in the design of
the Lamborghini. The firm plans to produce Sant'Agata 2500 copies.
Six months after
unveiling the Aventador, rumors leaked about a roadster. Lamborghini has
officially unveiled its Aventador J at the Geneva Motor Show 2012. The unique,
no roof, no windshield, and without windows, uses the same V12 engine as the
standard Aventador, developing 700 horsepower, with automatic transmission
seven-speed.
The car was also relieved
of his conditioning as its audio and navigation equipment for further easing,
lowering its total weight to 1,575 kg.
The designation of the
car with the letter "J" comes to Appendix J FIA rules describing
specifications of racing cars, it also refers to the production of a single
P400 Miura Jota in 1970 itself even in accordance with Appendix J
("Jota" means "J" in Spanish).
The car presented at the
Geneva Motor Show was sold for $ 2.8 million.
