   The BMW M3 F80 will replace from the summer of 2014 the older generation of BMW M3 E90, the coupe version has now taken the name of BMW M4. It is mainly based on the 3 Series F30 appeared in 2012, and moreover takes the N54 engine of 335i, a six-cylinder with 4 valves per cylinder and direct injection BiTurbo of 2979 cm3 but whose power goes 431ch for a torque of 550 nm.

The main interest of this BMW M3 is the move to turbocharged engines: while it was powered by a 4 liter V8 with strong character, especially with his red zone up to 9000 rev / min, the BMW M3 starts the downsizing and now uses turbocharging. While this change is decried by purists, it allows him to associate impressive performance and respect for the environment with CO2 emissions per kilometer and a decrease in consumption.
