   The BMW 6 Series is a line of coupes and convertibles cars designed by the German automaker BMW. This series follows the 3.0 CSi (E9). After the first generation (1976 - 1989) this series was not renewed immediately, the second generation arrived in 2004.

Three series of six generations have been produced to date:

BMW E24: 1976-1989

BMW E63: 2004-2011                            

BMW F12: 2011 –

The BMW 6 Series F12 is marketed in March 2011 convertible. It replaces the E63 release after six years of career. Then she is declined in late 2011 and early 2012 cut in Gran Coupé limousine. There are also sports M6.
