   The BMW 1 Series is an automobile model developed by the German automaker BMW. This series is the first real compact car study the manufacturer except for the 3 Series Compact derivative of the BMW 3 Series sedan (E36 and E46). In marketing, the BMW 1 Series is part of an entry-level product.
