Audi A8 luxury car:
The Audi A8 is a
saloon built by the German brand Audi. The range Audi A8 is the most luxurious
range (for sedans) proposed by Audi. The Mercedes S-Class and the BMW 7 Series
and Lexus LS are the main competitors of the Audi A8. It is similar to its
cousin, the Volkswagen Phaeton except that the body is aluminum. The first
generation Audi A8 appeared in 1994 under the code name A8 D2, but like all of
the Audi brand, the A8 has been re-designated in 2002 A8 D3 and A8 D4 in 2010.
The third generation of the A8 was launched on 1 December 2009 in Miami at Design Miami. Three months after the presentation of the new model came on the German market.
Networking of all electronically controlled systems with FlexRay: For example, adaptive cruise control and adaptive headlights take into account information from the navigation system and the camera in the rear view mirror. This allows the motorway light already on the driveway and the cornering light are activated before reaching the curve. The light is adapted to each country: Upon arrival in countries with left-hand traffic, the corresponding light unit group is activated automatically, even if the navigation system is turned off.
The A8 is available with Audi MMI, including a mobile broadband Internet access with UMTS technology as well as 3D navigation with Google Earth support.
Adaptive Highbeam Assist: a camera detects oncoming night or vehicles ahead and controls the main beam and the beam width sliding.

Speed Limit Assist
Adaptive cruise control (adaptive cruise control) with stop - & - go function (0-250 km / h), including automatic emergency braking (Audi pre sense): Uses multiple radar sensors, a video camera (for the first time in a German manufacturer) and the parking sensors. In slow-moving traffic or in traffic it regulates slowing down and starting up. In conjunction with the radar sensors of the lane change assistant of an autonomous full delay in situations where a collision is unavoidable, initiated to reduce the severity of the impact as much as possible.

A dynamic steering for more precise steering feel
Called a chassis made of aluminum Audi Space Frame, for reduction of weight and fuel consumption.
With the optional quattro with sport differential on the rear axle, the individual wheels on the rear axle receive different levels of torque. The force is directed specifically to the curve-outward rear wheel when the steering wheel or during acceleration in a curve, whereby the car is pushed by the driving force in the curve and the angle of the front wheels follows.
The standard available Audi drive select, a system that allows to influence some dynamic handling control systems electronically.
Optional energy-saving LED lights, the dipped and main beam, daytime running lights, flashing light and static cornering included. At 110 km / h, the range is increased from the motorway function.
The hood, the single-frame grille and front bumpers were changed slightly. The lower edge of the headlight units runs just future. At the rear, the LED lights have become flatter. The newly designed bumper includes all engines except for the S8 two diamond-shaped tailpipes one. New chrome trim and high-gloss black window frames complete the design differences.
The A8 has now optional on the new LED technology "LED matrix" in the headlights. Stopping down to so in the future only partially done, the rest of the field of view should always be as bright as day lit (Glare-free high beam). In addition, the Audi MMI system was modernized (new Tegra 3 processor and Long Term Evolution Internet access).
