   The BMW 7 Series is a car model designed by the German automaker BMW. This series is the high-end brand, representing what BMW does best in comfort, mechanics and technology.

BMW F01 / F02 are the fifth generation of the BMW 7 Series the first models available are 750i, 750li, 740i, 740Li and 730d.

The 750i and 750li use the new V8 Twin Turbo Direct Injection (also used for the X6 5.0), developing 407 hp / 300 kW.

The 740i and 740Li barter over the old version for their V8 6-cylinder in-line also features the Twin turbo, developing 326 hp / 240 kW.

The 730d has in turn entitled to a new 6-cylinder in-line 245 hp / 180 kW.

The new generation of iDrive control system fitted to this model includes a 10.2-inch screen and a high definition Improved menus structure, a new iDrive button to select and manage smaller features than the old. Direct access keys to menus have also been added to facilitate the use of the system. In addition, the audio system has a hard drive to store music. Finally, Connected Drive optional, provides access to the Internet directly from the car's display.

In terms of driver assistance systems, the new 7 Series has a very large equipment. The BMW Night Vision system can complete the range. For the first time, it has a pedestrian recognition function and warns when necessary the driver by flashing lights. A speed limit sign recognition system is also available to complement the assistance heading hold system. Other technological equipment are possible options such as Head up Display (or head-up display) that projected key information (such as current speed, GPS guidance, speed limit) on the windshield.

Subsequently, the new generation 7 Series will be accompanied by a new 12-cylinder gasoline engine and the 6-cylinder twin-turbo diesel 306 hp.
