   The BMW X5 is BMW SUV produced by the manufacturer. This is a high-end 4x4, direct competitor of Mercedes-Benz ML, Audi Q7, Volkswagen Touareg and Porsche Cayenne.

The BMW X5 has had three generations:

E53 (2000-2006)

E70 (2007-2013)

F15 (since 2013)

BMW officially unveiled the third generation of the X5 May 30, 2013. The new model will be produced in the manufacturer's production facility in South Carolina, USA, with the X3 and X6 models, and marketed from November 2013.

At its market launch, the new X5 will have three engines: 4.4 L V8 biturbo petrol 450 hp (xDrive50i), the diesel block N57 six-cylinder supercharged line (xDrive30d) and the triple N57S version overeating developing 381 hp (M50d), available since 2012 on the 5 Series, X6 and the previous version of X5.

In December 2013, the range of engines will be complemented with the xDrive40d, xDrive35i and the first four-cylinder engine (AWD xDrive25d and sDrive25d propulsion).
