Audi Q5 suv car:
The Audi Q5 is a
compact SUV developed by the German automaker Audi. Historically the second SUV
brand after Audi Q7 launched in late 2006, the Q5 is intended to compete with
the Mercedes-Benz GLK, the Volvo XC60 but especially the BMW X3, the reference category.
Despite a late arrival in this segment has been an explosion in 2008, the Q5 is
44% of the luxury compact SUV market in France. The success of the Q5 holds,
according to the spokesman of Audi in France, "elegant design, discreet
and versatility."
Meeting in Ingolstadt
in Germany, she is part of the A4 / A5 family with which it shares its
platform. Much smaller than the Q7 with a length of 4629 mm, the Q5 is
nevertheless one of the largest compact SUV market. Available in concession since
October 2008.
Taking the stylistic traits characteristic of the German mark, it is difficult to misunderstand the affiliation of the Audi Q5. Keystone Single Frame grille, square headlamps with integrated daytime running lights with LED lights are all common elements in recent Audi models.
Mounted on alloy wheels 17 to 20 inches depending on the version, the profile of the Q5 is recognizable by its ribs marked on the wings to give it, according to the designers, some muscles. The gently sloping roofline to the rear is topped with thin chrome roof rails. Made of aluminum like the bonnet, the tailgate is steep enough to avoid the impression of having a break.
From an aerodynamic point of view, the Q5 a new record for the segment with a drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.33.
